Week 3

This week we enjoyed Flavia's Brazilan dishes and Evita's Indonesian dessert and coffee cafe.

MENU

Starter by Flavia - FRIED MANIOC/KASSAVA
Main meal by Flavia - MOQUECA BAIANA – SEAFOOD STEW, FAROFA & MANGO SALSA





MANGO SALSA

Ingredients:
1 medium red onion
2 tsp salt
2 firm mangoes
1 orange bell pepper
1 red jalapeño
2 tbs finely chopped cilantro
Juice of 1 lime
1 tsp cumin
3 tsp of olive oil

Preparation:
• Dice onion very finely and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of salt, let rest for about 10 minutes
• Peel mango and dice into small pieces
• Dice bell pepper very finely
• Dice jalapeño very finely
• Mix the lime, olive oil, cilantro and cumin together
• Rinse the onions with warm water
• Mix all the ingredients together and serve.




DESSERT by Evita - 
Es Teler, Indonesian dessert. 
Palm Seed, longan / lychee, jack fruit, avocado, rambutan, papaya, coconut milk, palm sugar, ice cream.
